I am honored to be the newest member of the Cornerstone Realtors team after being on my own for the last several years as the owner & managing broker of Aligned Property Group.  My official career in real estate, as I like to tell people, started with the purchase of my first home in 2012, as that launched my passion for learning and understanding what creates a true home. 15 houses later, my wife, Meg, and I have built a rental portfolio of our own and have bought, lived in, and sold 7 of our own homes over the last 14 years. We can’t pass up an old house and a good investment! 

My approach to real estate is first and foremost as an educator, which calls upon my background in teaching for several years, as an investor, which utilizes my B.S. in Commerce and many years working in the financial industry as a trader, and now I balance real estate and investment consulting. All my passions converge in a way that allows me to walk people through a complicated process with as little stress as possible, advocate for their best interests, and support them in making the safest investment possible and I take my clients’ trust very seriously. 

It may sound strange, but my adage in real estate has always been that I work well with almost everyone, but I'm not for everyone either. By that I mean I always want to make sure any client, or potential client, has the right fit with me as their agent and vice versa.  I'm not a 24/7 agent and never intend to be, as my work in real estate is finely balanced with my primary focus of my loving wife and kids along with my community and civic engagement.  I work very hard for my clients and am an excellent advocate to do whatever it takes to get the best deal done for my clients. I'm also an avid lover of nature, hiker, and outdoorsman who will make my way outside year-round whenever I can!  I have found that this work life balance allows me to show up fully for both my clients and my family in a way that I can be proud of. 

When I'm not helping clients buy or sell real estate, you'll find me hiking in a state or national park, tending to my future homestead, playing in rivers/creeks/waterfalls with my kids, or traveling anywhere I can with my family.  I'd love to help anyone interested in real estate figure out their next steps, or if you just want to talk about your love of nature and the outdoors, I'm always down for that too!
